In 1974 we witnessed the end of the muscle car era. Pontiac was still trying to hold on to the Trans Am the Mustang got small smog pumps were on everything. This was also the last year the Dodge Charger looked like a Muscle car that is in coupe form. Gone were the days of big Horsepower most of the 74 Chargers were built with 318 CI engines but there was a hand full that had different engine options and this is one of those cars. There were 30,953 V8 1974 Charger SE shipments were ordered for U.S. dealers. This J Code car came from the factory with the four-barrel 360 engine and only 683 units were ordered that year. In the past few years the 73 and 74 Chargers have been going up in value. This low production car has Power windows custom sound system new wheels and tires 360 V8 with 727 automatic transmission power steering power disc brakes.
